I got baptized on November 29th. I felt the Holy Spirit. I was a little scared when I was getting baptized, but I still got baptized. And now I feel excited. And my Dad took some pictures of me outside. And I got scriptures (2 books) and I got a CTR ring and a Faith in God book. I've only completed one question of my Faith in God. After that we took a family picture. And after that I played with Allie and Miles. Miles, I gave him a little part of my cookie. He gobbled it up and he wanted some more so I took him to the cookie stand. Errolyn and Cameron said he's not aloud to come near it. We out to eat at Olive Garden and they wanted me to wear this birthday hat and I did not want to wear it because it was a cook hat.
And on my birthday, I went to my first Scout thing and I did the 3-legged race, the wheel barrow race, and we were planning for this excited thing. And I got this Cub Scout book and I'm doing good on it. I've already passed off my Bobcat badge and I'm in the middle of doing my Wolf. And I can say the Cub Scout pledge and the pack pledge. First I'm going to say the Cub Scout one: "I Logan, promise to do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country, to help other people, and to obey the law of the pack." Now here's the pack pledge: "The Cub Scouts follow Akala. The Cub Scouts help the pack go. The Pack helps the Cub Scouts grow. The Cub Scouts give good will." And I'm going to share the Cub Scout motto: "Do your best." And what Webelos stands for: "Will be loyal Scouts." And that's in all my Bobcat. And the last part of my Bobcat was talking about safety rules. I passed off that too. And I did the whole thing in 20 or 15 minutes.
Messiah was yesterday. We had lots of fun. We sang the Wexford Carol and we sung a song with the Youth. And after that, we went to the Primary room and we got a Hershey kiss, the candy not the actual kiss. And after that, me and some other of my friends went to a certain place and we had lots of fun. At the end, Grant, one of my friends, he was breaking things, little hymn carriers, and me and Zenock were fixing them. I built this really cool thing out of tables. I ran across it the 2nd time. And guess what I felt? I felt a slight tip over like it was about to tip over. And so I helped with chairs then we left and ate at Applebees. It seemed to me that Allie was bored watching us eat. Then Cameron and Errolyn got shakes and me and Emma got ice cream sundaes. And it was no fair 'cause Cameron and Errolyn had bigger cups than ours. Then we left for Applebees. We read scriptures at home and after scriptures it was like 10:30. And also, my Mom started up this scripture reading chart, if we read the 1st five days we get an ice cream bar, then the next 10 days we get a Redbox and the next 8 we get a donut. And we have to fill up the days on the chart or we have to do things to make it up so we don't miss the prize. We're like on the 17th day. We need one more day till we get it. Our Family Home Evening doesn't count so we just have to read scriptures.

So Allie was born on September 7th. She had to stay in the hospital for 2 days and she had to stay an extra day because her heart was beeping weird. Then Allie came home. She smiled at me two times but I didn't make her smile. I holded Allie 8 times and fed fer two. I changed Allie's diaper one time and it was so gross. I picked up Allie on my own 10 times. I love Allie being in our family.

I had this little story that I want to tell. And it was about this video that I really wanted to watch, but I had a feeling that I wasn't. Because my Mom told me I wasn't aloud to watch it, but I really wanted to watch it. And I wanted to do what my Mom said so I didn't. And because I already had like 5 nightmares. One was I was afraid the house was going to sink into the Earth. And the second was where this green animal, its trained, and every single time it hears a bell sound it steals stuff. And I'm afraid its going to come into my room and hurt me and steal all of my stuff. The third one was my favorite, but I still had nightmares. And it was about a gnome and the gnome had hands that if you shake them it would glow and each time you shook them it would automatically turn you frozen forever. And the fourth one was the second one I was scared of, but I felt better when I had the blessing and prayer. And the fifth one, it was actually not in the video, it was one of my nightmares. It was about the first part, its like there was this bad guy, and if he shoots you two times with a bullet; me, Errolyn, and Emma were in it. He finds me and shoots me once, but I still have a second one. And he finds Errolyn and Emma and doesn't shoot them. Then after that, there was this karate kid that was supposed to kill him. Then another bad guy shot the karate kid two times and then he died. Then he shot me a second time, and then he shot Errolyn and Emma, but Errolyn survived and Emma did not. Then after me and Emma died, we turned into feathers and we could only look one way. Then after that me and Emma stay in a feather for a long time and we went into this tube in Errolyn's room and me and Emma were in it. Then me and Emma tried to climb out of the tube. Then we were stuck because there were little balls in there that were food. And me and Emma stayed in there for 5 days and we survived. Then there's like this button that blows up air and it blew out me and Emma. Then after that, it started the dream all over again and I just woke up completely. And I had another one, Shamu eating me.
In Primary, I was told to answer this question for the Primary program and this was my question and answer.
Share a time when you have been comforted or guided by the Holy Ghost.
A time I have been comforted or guided by the Holy Ghost was when my Dad gave me a blessing. I watched this scary video and I was very scared that something that happened in the video was going to happen to me. I asked my Mom and she said that my Dad could give me a blessing. My Dad talked to me in my room about what things were making me scared and then he gave me a blessing. And after he was done with the blessing I felt a little better.
But, I was still scared. I tried to pray so I could forget the part of the video that was making me scared and I was praying every single night so I could forget. But, I was still scared. I just knew the prayers and the blessing had to work. And so I asked my Mom again and she said that I had been eating a lot of sugar lately which can cause scary dreams. And my big brother Cameron told me about two nightmares he had when he was younger and that he prayed about them and he wasn’t scared anymore. And after talking to my Mom and brother, I prayed one last time that I would not be scared, and I felt the Holy Ghost comfort me and I felt better. And after that, I started to forget about the scary things and not be scared as much.
And otherwise, I'd like to bear my testimony. I know my church is true. I know Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. And I Joseph Smith helped build the Kirtland Temple. And I know I have been trying to be more honest and all of those right things. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

For a whole week the Beans were here. We had a lot of fun.
We went on a family vacation to Houston. We went to the beach, that was the first place we went. Then we went to a swimming pool. Then that was a day. Then we went to Nasa. Then we went to the Boardwalk. Then that was the end of the day. Then the next day we went to the Children's Museum and Natural Museum of History. Then that was the end of the day. Then the next day we went to the Aquarium. Then that was the end of the day. Then the next day we saw James' baptism and we went home.
My favorite thing on Nasa was seeing the movie of the rocket ships. And the boardwalk, my favorite ride where you go uuuuuupppppp and doooooowwwwwn and uuuuuupppppp and doooooowwwwwn. (The rocking ship.) My favorite part of the Children's Museum was the rock climbing and exercise place and being on the news. And at the Natural History Museum my favorite part was the gems. Then we went to the Aquarium and I had a bunch of favorite parts: petting the sting rays, they feel so weird and cool and squishy, and seeing the sharks, and seeing the octopus and the parrot. We stayed at Grandma's and Grandpa's for two days. My favorite part of Grandma's and Grandpa's was the building blocks.

So, we never written for our journal since 3 months so my Mom's making me write all the things we just did. And we did a bunch of stuff. We ended the school year. We saw the 4th of July thing. We ran the mile. And we're about to hit cleaning the church month. We ran a mile it was at a park. I ran and I had this ribbon my neck and I was like, "I just want to get this ribbon off my neck." I was in 2nd place until my Dad passed me and I was 4th overall. I even beat all of the adults but 3. And I beat all of the kids. And she gave out prizes to all of us. 1st girl adult, 1st stroller, 1st boy adult, 1st kid boy, 1st kid girl, Scout jersey, and the family that had the most shirts. And the Sampson family won; their shirts were all red, white, and blue. I had ate breakfast and then I talked to my friend Austin. We walked around the mile again. And while we were walking on the first mile, Nicoy showed us a pond. And we saw frogs jumping in, water spiders, and a fake duck. And we went back. We were checking if the half way water check was still there. And we looked and it wasn't there anymore. And right before we ended the 3rd mile, we sat down and I standed up and there was a bunny rabbit. And me and Austin walked up to it and we were like 5 or 3 feet away from it. So it ran into the bushes. I scared it away more. And we walked the whole mile and our Dads were walking to look for us. And we went in the car and drove home.
Then I think it was 2 weeks ago on Wednesday, Grandpa Felsch died. And my brother went to EFY and Scout Camp. And my Mom went to Grandpa Felsch's funeral. And they both got back and we were very excited to see them again.
And this is kind of weird, but I'm gonna tell you it. So me and my Mom went shopping. And she got me a whole load of shirts and pants. And, I had to get dressed in them and I had to come out and Mom would approve it or not. And one of my favorites she said "no" and I was so mad. And when we were at the shopping guy, he said it was $246. (It wasn't that much.)
And like on, I don't know what month it was, me and Emma were really practicing for a tornado. And I would say, "Tornado, tornado," and Emma would run and get into her correct spot. Here's the safest. Cameron is the safest, then Mom, then Errolyn, then me, then Emma, then its Dad. And today my Mom and Dad got a new dishwasher and there's this really big box. So, me and Emma builded a fort with it and the box is my room and Emma's feet can lay in it. And I set up the lamp next to and the clock. And so, I builded a wall made out of a body cushion and a wall made out of baskets.
And I don't when my Mom and Dad painted, but they painted like everywhere. And this one wall was painted brown and it looks very good.

We went to the Rodeo. And we went to a different Rodeo where they ride horses. And we saw bull riding and we saw saw kids riding on sheeps. And there's also high schoolers catching a bull. And we went to the Reptile House and I got to touch a snake. A lot of snakes live here and some snakes can kill people in one bite. And we saw this giant snake and it was yellow and white. And it remind me of my Dad's mission; he killed a snake before that ate a cow. And there's another type of snake that reminds me of the snake we saw. It was looking at a lot of things and it was below water and there's a lot of tadpoles and so I was trying to save them and none of them wanted to go in the cup. And so the snake was eating the tadpoles.
And Field Day was awesome. And I'm really mad 'cause we did every single station but two. We were doing my favorite one and we didn't get to go. And my buddy was keep on cutting in front of me while I was there first. The end.

I went to Monster Jam with Carol. It was very fun. My favorite car was Grave Digger. He was the 3rd champion. The 1st and the 2nd, they didn't beat Grave Digger on the thing. On the 1st Champion, he got 5, 5, 5. And his bonus was 0. And the next guy, he got 6, 7, 6. His bonus was 2. And Grave digger got 10, 10, 10, and his bonus was 5. And at Monster Jam, there was this little 4th champion and here's what he did, uh, the 4th champion did, uh, when he was going up this little hill, he bumped into the little hill and he did a flip and he landed right on his tires and he didn't get hurt at all. And there is one car that was so slow, he didn't even win a race. Every single time he was in a race, here's what happened, he would end up crashing 'cause he car is too heavy.
And we went to Arizona. It was very cool. We saw the Gilla Valley Temple and we saw the Mesa Temple. Then we saw the Gilbert Temple. At the Gilbert Temple I went inside it. And all the rooms were so pretty, but the prettiest room that I went in was the Celestial Kingdom room. It was so light and so bright. And it was my favorite room in the thing. While we were in Arizona we also saw this tall cactus and it had like 20 branches on it. And it had 100 thorns on it. And so I want to tell you this little story. At the Mesa Temple, here's what happened, I was having a great time. I saw a lot of fruit trees and the grass was soft. And the fruit trees were: a lime tree, a lemon tree, a cutie tree, a peach tree, and an orange tree. And I went on this little path and saw 5 cactus and while we were taking a picture, one cactus poked me in the leg. And another time when we were taking a picture the same one poked me in the leg. And so that was the story.
And we hiked up to the hole in the rock. Errolyn was scared of bees and the hole in the rock there was active bees there, so Errolyn was kind of freaking out. And so we went and no bees were there and so they were wrong. And after that, I went above the hole in the rock. I took 10 pictures. And we found two ways to get down, but could do both of them, but I couldn't. Like the first path was like a little rock slide and it was 10 feet down. Dad did it and I couldn't do it and so Dad climbed back up and we found the 2nd path. And Dad did it and I couldn't do it again. And so that's why we hiked back up and we found this hole and that's were there was this hole in the rock. And Cameron, Errolyn, Emma, and Mom both saw us. And we came up this path and it was 5 feet down. And I could make the 5 feet and so I made it. And so I made a mile climb or a half mile climb. And so Emma, she got poked by 20 stickers and well she was climbing. And me and Emma were good climbers. And so, that was my story about the hole in the rock.
